Directed by Arvindr S. Khaira, Ishqnama stars Jay
Randhawa, Shehnaaz Gill, Saurabh Sachdeva, Anjum Batra, Mahaveer Bhullar and
Preet Bhullar. Set against the backdrop of India and Pakistan, the film follows
the journey of two young lovers who find each other despite borders, politics
and the lingering scars of Partition. Their fight to keep their love alive
forms the emotional core of the story.

Prakash Rathour, Ishqnama is
another significant milestone in a career that has quietly but consistently
grown over the years. Known for his eye for detail and his ability to tell
stories through visuals, Shiv has built a strong reputation in the industry
with a diverse body of work spanning films, web series, and music videos.
Born and raised in Punjab, Shiv started young and over the last
decade he has worked on both fiction series and movies, documentaries and music
videos. He graduated from Delhi and studied Film Cinematography in the
Mindscreen Film Institute, Chennai.
Over the years, he has served as the cinematographer on acclaimed
projects such as Bada Naam Karenge (Rajshri
Productions,2025), Gullak 3 (TVF, 2022) and Aspirants 2
(TVF, 2023).
Earlier in his journey, he worked as the Associate Director of
Photography on Kota Factory (TVF, 2019–2021), was the Second Unit
Director of Photography for Dhak Dhak (2023), and also contributed
to the cinematography team of Gehraiyaan (Dharma Productions,
2022).

Shiv's
work extends well beyond films and series. He
has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the Indian music industry,
shooting music videos for artists including Arijit Singh, Ankit Tiwari, Vishal
Mishra, B Praak, Armaan Malik, Jubin Nautiyal, Afsana Khan, Stebin Ben, and
many others.
